Major Copper Project

The Enthalpy Capital Investment System was used as the process and standards framework for the Independent Peer Review.

The Enthalpy client is a minority shareholder in a long-term mega-project for a large Copper Mine and Concentrator in a very difficult high-altitude location.

The majority shareholder (also the operator) conducted a Feasibility Study to determine the viability of doubling the production and extending the mine life by 15 years.

Enthalpy was engaged to conduct an Independent Peer Review for the minority shareholder of the Feasibility Study and to give an opinion as to the viability, or otherwise, of the investment opportunity.

Enthalpy mobilised, at short notice, a fully integrated technical, project and business evaluation team of eight personnel who visited the site, interviewed the operator’s staff and consultants, and reviewed all deliverables.

The Enthalpy Capital Investment System was used as the process and standards framework for the Independent Peer Review.

The assignment was completed exactly on schedule with a high-quality deliverable, and a clear outcome for the client.
